On On U of K

I took these pictures on a beautiful day last summer when we were in Lexington for a wedding. I hadn't been back onto campus in years, and really enjoyed walking around an empty campus. I enjoyed taking pictures and just came across them, so I thought I'd share them.

These 3 are my favorites....

I spent many hours in these 2 buildings.

I love the University of Kentucky, and will forever bleed blue. I am so thankful for the 4 wonderful years I spent there. I'm glad I had the chance to enjoy this place I love on a beautiful day!

FINAL FOUR!

after 13 YEARS {to some of you this means nothing, to a UK basketball fan it means a whole, whole lot} we have FINALLY made it back to the Final Four! I've been waiting years to feel what I'm feeling right this moment.

We woke up at 5:00 this morning to watch the game, and it was most definitely worth an hour and a half less of sleep today.

So at 8:49 on Saturday night in America (Sunday morning here), we'll play UConn for a spot in the national championship. Oh the excitement.

OHHHHH C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS!!!!

JOYFULLY ecstatic,

THE summer wedding- #11 Matthew & Jamie

This is it- the final wedding of all wedding this past summer. My beautiful bestest!

Matthew & Jamie!

This engagement FLEW by and before we knew it they were married! It was so special to spend the last few days before we moved over here with them.

The Big Day

Creating a masterpiece- who knew you needed so many curls....
to create this.....

So beautiful!

Roommates from college

The Ceremony

Don't the guys look so handsome in their seersucker and bow ties!?

My beautiful friend Brookie- I was SO glad to see her before we left!

The Reception.
FULL of Jamie's creative touches. She is so talented.
Go check out her blog here for more fun touches.

The Beautiful Cake made by her fabulous mother-in-law WITH the adorable UK & USC Bride & Groom Bird cake toppers Jamie made!

Welcome Table with this cute banner she made AND the fun sign with places they've been together and how far away they all are. Super cute.

They had their reception at this lake house- SO perfect for them. It was fantastic.

Cornhole outside with the boards they made

Picture table (blurry pic but you get the picture...literally) with their signature frame and wedding pictures of their parents and grandparents.
She made the grass monogram.

The centerpieces were all made from miscellaneous things she and her mom had around the house. All so unique and creative.

First Dance

The mantle
There is a GIANT tacky painting of a tiger bolted to brick of the chimney so Jamie took fabric from Ikea and covered a giant canvas with it to cover the tiger and put fun things on the mantle. It looked amazing.

Matthew & his wonderful Mama

Wonderful friends from college

Once again, Jamie's creativity at it's best. She made this photo booth with lips and mustaches on a stick where you could take pictures. So cute.

Best friends. We lovelovelove the Pepins and are so thankful that you were willing to have a short engagement so we could be there. Couldn't ask for more wonderful friends!

Joyfully celebrating the Pepins,

Summer Wedding #10- Pat & Courtney

really.... i am finishing these- 2 more!

Summer Wedding #10-
THE BILLIGS!

I love this picture! So beautiful.

Pat and Adam were fraternity brothers in college and roommates their sophomore year. Pat & Courtney started dating in college, and are now living in Louisville.

Tailgating before a Bengals game with Pat & Courtney (far left) and our friend Chris.

We love Adam's friends from college and so wish that we could spend more time with them. Unfortunately their wedding was the same day as Jamie's, so we weren't able to be there but definitely thought about them all day.

Congratulations Pat & Courtney!

Joyfully celebrating (almost 4 month's later) the Billigs,

A Few of my Favorite Things Friday {Oct. 22nd}

I hope you all have had a fabulous week!
Here are a few of my favorite things this week.....

Fave #1.... Kentucky's amazing win over South Carolina last weekend!
As spotty as our internet can be, I don't hold my breath that we will actually be able to watch football games when they air, but we woke up early last Sunday morning to a gloriously fast connection via our beloved slingbox and were able to watch the UK game live. And it was fantastic.

This is how we now enjoy football games.

Thank you Randall Cobb for being amazing....

Go Big Blue.

Fave #2.......Fruit Snacks!
A little random I know, but this week as I was making a wish list of things I wanted from the states, I had some serious cravings for fruit snacks. Not just any fruit snacks though..... I LOVE Kroger brand. And not just any Kroger Brand- the variety pack......

And the "primary color" ones.... creepies, sharks, and dinos....

a little strange? yes. But the other ones are neon colored and I'm not a fan.

I have also grown to love these guys .... and apparently they're healthy. Not that I really care as long as they taste good.

And Fave #3......Old Navy Wool Coats!
Every year Old Navy sells fantastic winter coats in fun colors for insanely reasonable prices, and every year I say that I'm going to buy one and every year I kick myself when I don't. BUT this year, they are exceptionally cute. These are my 5 favorite..... (in no particular order)....

love them.

Those are a few of my extremely random favorite things this week. Get excited, because we are in a really fun city visiting friends this weekend and I have LOTS of favorite things from here.

Joyfully delighted,
