I have loved the whole Pennant Craze in the craft world over the last several months so I decided to make one for Jamie to use for her bridal shower a couple of weeks ago. It looks like it is made with fabric BUT it's really paper.
Lauren came over and helped me get started. Please note that I can't do any project without making a giant mess.
We cut out the top layer, the letters, and a slightly bigger solid bottom layer.
Then I went to town with the sewing machine. I lined inside of the letters with a straight line in all different color thread. Then I went along the edge of the top layer with a zig-zag stitch.
I attached each pennant to a lime green polka dot ribbon.
and voila. A nice little banner for her & Matthew.
